In bygone years our ancestors worshipped many Gods. In temples, in groves, in hofs, in caves, outside and inside. Some Gods had mighty temples built in their sole honor, others had mentions in yearly rituals honoring the agricultural, lunar, and solar cycles. Today, there are almost no temples, groves, or hofs standing for open veneration of the Pagan Gods. However, Paganism is growing. People worship, work with, and honor the Gods at home, in parks, while camping, or at work. This is a perfectly fine practice. Some people want more, some people are unsure how to approach a God and some people prefer structure or just some community.
Raven Redfeather dedicates herself to service of her Gods by performing temple service duties in modern times. Structuring a temporary altar, open to anyone of any spiritual background, and leading a small devotional workshop. Join us this month for an evening of honoring the Norse God Odin. Odin is the head of the Norse pantheon. Known by many names, He is the cloaked traveler, the Allfather, earner of the runes, world builder and countless other titles. There will be time for Q&A as well as toasts to Odin.
